The actress we are talking about is none other than Shraddha Kapoor, the very talented daughter of Bollywood’s veteran actor Shakti Kapoor.
Shraddha did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School. At the age of 15, she shifted to the American School of Bombay, where she was schoolmates with Tiger Shroff and Athiya Shetty. When Shraddha was 17 years old, Salman Khan offered her a role in one of his production films, however, Shraddha turned down Salman Khan’s offer at that time. Actually, she wanted to complete her studies first.
Shraddha took admission in Boston University to do graduation in Psychology. During her studies, she also worked in a coffee shop for 40 dollars.
However, after being recognized on Facebook, she left her job in the first year to work in her first film Teen Patti. In this film, Shraddha Kapoor shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley and R Madhavan. However, this film flopped at the box office.
After this, Shraddha Kapoor’s next film Love Ka The End also flopped. However, the actress’ third film Aashiqui 2 was a blockbuster and with this she became a star.
Shraddha Kapoor played the lead role opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in Aashiqui 2 and her strong acting in the film was highly praised. After this, Shraddha never looked back. She gave many hit and blockbuster films including Stree, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Ek Villain, ABCD 2. She is now one of the leading actresses of Bollywood.
Shraddha Kapoor now charges Rs 15 crore for each of her films and has a huge fan following on Instagram.
