According to the BBC report, why did the accused Nicholas Matson murder his wife so brutally? No concrete reason has been found for this yet. The surprising and disturbing thing is that after brutally murdering his wife, Nicholas had also taken the help of his friend Joshua Hancock to dispose of her body parts, for which he paid him 50 pounds (about Rs 5,264 in Indian currency). According to the report, the accused person Metson had committed the murder in the month of March. Deceased Bramley was lost in the CCTV footage captured on March 17, 2023 when she was returning to her home. After carrying out this murder, the accused had been continuously denying the allegations of murder that took place in March for several weeks. However, Metson allegedly told policemen that Bramley had gone with a women’s help group on March 19. At the same time, now the accused has confessed to the murder but the officials told Lincoln Crown Court that Metson has not disclosed the reasons behind this heinous murder. The court will now give its verdict regarding his punishment on Monday (8 March).
The body was cut into pieces in the bathroom of the flat
According to media reports, accused Nicholas, after killing his wife, had kept her remains in the kitchen store. The accused had stabbed her with a sharp knife and cut her body into pieces in the bathroom. After receiving a complaint from family members, the police started investigation regarding the well-being of Bramley.
Suspicion increased due to strong smell of ammonia and bleach powder
The couple’s house was inspected by Lincolnshire Police on March 24, 2023. During this time, the policemen also smelled a strong smell of ammonia and bleach powder from the flat and they became suspicious. After this, it was seen that blood stained sheets were seen in the bathroom bathtub and black spots were seen on the floor. When these stains were forensically examined, they were found to be Bramley’s blood.
Police say that looking at the house it seemed as if it had been recently renovated. During police interrogation, Metson claimed that he was a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of his wife. He also showed the injury marks on his arm. Both of them got married in the year 2021 and were now going to separate.
‘Some parts of the victim’s body are yet to be found’
Quoting the report, it has been learned that when the police searched Bramley-Matson’s flat and found nothing of Bramley, a day later a search was conducted with the help of divers in the Witham River in Bassingham. Actually, a passerby passing near the river had informed about plastic bags floating. A human hand was also visible in it. After this, during the search, the police recovered 224 pieces of Bramley’s body. However, some body parts of Holly Bramley have not been found yet.

After committing this horrific crime, murder accused Nicholas had also searched on Google that what would be the benefit to him if his wife dies and will no one bother him after her death. The mother of victim Holly Bramley told the court that Metson had given her lifelong pain.
