Singapore Corona Cases: Corona has knocked once again in Singapore. More than 25,900 corona cases have been registered here from May 5 to 11. In view of the increasing cases of Corona, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung has appealed to the people to wear masks.
Giving information regarding the increasing cases of Corona, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said that right now we are in the initial wave of Covid. Corona cases are continuously increasing here. It is being estimated that the Corona wave will be at its peak in the next two to four weeks. This time will be between the middle and end of June.
The number of patients is continuously increasing
The number of hospitalizations of Corona patients in Singapore is continuously increasing. For a week, 181 Corona patients were being admitted to the hospital every day. Now this figure has increased to 250. However, the number of cases admitted to ICU is now one in three compared to two cases last week.
Health Ministry issued statement
The Health Ministry has said that to maintain hospital bed capacity, public hospitals should reduce their non-urgent elective surgery cases. Apart from this, patients whose treatment is possible from home should be sent back home.

Health Minister Ong Ye Kung appealed to the people and said that those who are suffering from serious illness or who are 60 or older should take an additional dose of the corona vaccine.
