CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury has passed away. He was ill for quite some time. On September 10, the CPI(M) said in a statement that the 72-year-old leader is admitted in the ICU of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) because he has a serious chest infection. Yechury was admitted to AIIMS on August 19 for treatment of pneumonia and chest infection.

How to prevent lower respiratory tract infection

Take special care of cleanliness. This clearly means that prevent germs from spreading around you.

Always wear a mask in public places. 

Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.

Wash your hands often with clean, running water and soap. This reduces the risk of getting an infection. If you are not careful, this disease can spread to others. 

Do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth, take special care of cleanliness. Do not touch your mouth with the same hand again and again. That can also spread dirt.
