Six year old child beaten up

In Gwaltoli police station area of Kanpur, an 18-year-old neighbour took a six-year-old innocent child playing outside the house to the park on the pretext of giving him chocolate and tried to rape him. When he resisted, he thrashed him. With the intention of killing him, he tied his hands and legs with a towel and threw him in the park. On being informed by the local people, the police reached the spot and took him to the hospital in a serious condition. Where his condition remains critical.
The police have registered an FIR against the accused and are questioning him after arresting him late in the evening. A youth from Gwaltoli told the police that his 6-year-old nephew was playing outside the house on Monday evening. After this, he suddenly went missing. Late at night, the people of the locality found him lying in a dying condition in Citymet Park.
His hands and legs were tied with a towel and a cloth was stuffed in his mouth. There were injury marks on his face and his nose was bleeding. Hearing his groans, the people of the locality informed his family and the Gwaltoli police station. The police reached on information and admitted him to Ursula.
Even after this serious matter, Gwaltoli police hid the matter from the senior officers of the commissionerate. When Police Commissioner Akhil Kumar came to know about the incident, he gave instructions to Additional CP Law and Order Harish Chander. Additional CP instructed DCP Central Dinesh Tripathi and ADCP Central Mahesh Kumar to go to the hospital and take statements and talk to the doctor and arrest the accused.
