Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested two arms smugglers linked to notorious gangsters Tillu Tajpuria and Chhenu Pehalwan. The accused are Ajay alias Totla alias Devgan, resident of Madanpur Khadar and Shamim, resident of Aligarh. Police have recovered 10 pistols and 15 cartridges and a stolen bike from the possession of both of them.

The police officer said that on December 11, information was received that arms smuggler Ajay would come to give weapons to Vinay Pandit, associated with the Chhenu gang. On December 12, Ajay was caught with a stolen bike near the Delhi-Noida border. The accused told that he had taken weapons from Shamim, a resident of Aligarh. After this the police arrested Shamim. Shamim told during interrogation that weapons were made from villages as per demand. The police is investigating the matter
