X gave clarification
X says that it has not hidden this from the users and has told about it on the Help Page article. Many users have also complained about this. Some users say that their posts were used without their permission. At the same time, the social media company has clarified that if users want, they can stop the use of their data for training Grok AI.
The data from users’ public tweets and their conversations is used to train the AI chatbot on X. This process is in your hands and you can also stop it. For this, you get control over your posts.
How can we stop this whole process?
You need to login to your X account on your laptop or PC and go to X settings
- By going to the settings of X, you have to go to Privacy and Settings.
- After selecting Grok here, you will have to click on the Delete Conversation History option.
- Now on the next screen you can delete the previous data by clicking on Delete Your Interactions, inputs and results.
X has clarified that only public data is being used for the training process of AI. If your account is private then you do not need to worry.
