But after take off the plane started rolling to the left. This Boeing 747 named Samrat Ashoka took off with 190 passengers and 23 crew members.

Let us tell you that the plane that crashed was Air India Flight 855, a Boeing 747-237B, which was built in 1971. This aircraft was named Samrat Ashoka after Emperor Ashoka. At the time of the accident, the captain of this aircraft was Madan Lal Kukar, who was 51 years old at that time. 43 year old Indu Virmani was the first officer of the flight at that time.
