In Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, the sub-inspector’s son brutally beat his first wife. Then pressed his face with the pillow. Due to this he died in agony. After this, he killed himself by shooting himself with a pistol. Hearing the sound of firing from the room, the relatives reached the room. Here the dead body of the young man was lying on the cot soaked in blood. When he looked inside the room, his wife’s dead body was lying on the bed.
Ranjit Singh, originally a resident of Gadharauli village of Nasirpur, is posted in Srinagar as SI in BSF. His family lives in their house in Bijendra Colony of Shikohabad police station area. Suddenly there was a sound of fire from the room at around 1.30 am on Monday night. As soon as there was a sound, the family members sleeping in other rooms in the house woke up. The body of Deepak Yadav (30) was lying soaked in blood in the outside room.

The family went inside the room and saw that his wife Shashi Yadav (26) was lying dead. There was a scar on his forehead. Police estimated that the deceased had beaten up his wife before the incident. After this he was murdered. After the woman’s death, she came to the outside room and lying on the cot, the young man shot her with a pistol on her temple. Due to this he also died on the spot.

Police sent both the bodies to Firozabad for postmortem. A panel of three doctors conducted the postmortem of the bodies of the couple. Station in-charge Shikohabad Harvendra Mishra said that according to the postmortem report, the wife was murdered first by pressing her face with a pillow or a sheet. The cause of death has been stated as suffocation in the postmortem report.

SP Rural Kumar Ranvijay Singh said that at around 1.30 pm on Monday night, information was received that the young man had committed suicide by shooting himself after killing his wife. The police reached the spot and inspected the spot and took information. Is being investigated.
