Sonakshi Sinha On Cooking After Marriage: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha had an intimate wedding with her long time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in the presence of close friends and family in June this year. Since then, the actress has been in the headlines. Now Sonakshi Sinha has talked about the pressure of cooking after marriage.
There is no pressure on Sonakshi to cook after marriage
In fact, while talking to the media on Thursday, Sonakshi said that today women do not have the pressure of cooking after marriage because nowadays people know that they fulfill their professional commitments along with personal commitments. Sonakshi said, “In today’s time, there is no such pressure on women (to cook) because everyone knows that women have their own working life and home life. This is also a matter of interest. I am really lucky that I do not have that pressure (to cook). Even if I want to go ahead and do this (cooking), it will be because I want to do it.
Sonakshi did cooking for the first time
Actually Sinha had reached the promotional culinary event of a digital travel company. Zaheer Iqbal was also with her. In the program, Sinha cooked Sattu Ka Paratha, while Iqbal made avocado sushi. Sinha said that this was the first time she tried her hand at cooking and her mother Poonam Sinha would be happy with her attempt. Sonakshi said, “This is the first time I have really tried to cook something and it is in front of so many people. I was under a lot of pressure, but I think I did quite well… I enjoyed it. I would like to learn a lot more (cooking) in the future.”
Sonakshi further said, “The happiest person today would be my mother. She is a great cook. She thought her daughter would become a good chef which never happened. She thought I could become a good chef once I get married. She is still waiting (for this to happen).”
23 Sonakshi and Zaheer got married in June
Let us tell you that Sonakshi Sinha had a registered marriage with Zaheer Iqbal at her home on 23 June this year. Only family and close friends attended their wedding. Later in the evening of the same day, the couple hosted a grand reception party in which many Bollywood celebrities participated.
