Ladakh’s environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk has alleged that she was not given space to hold a peaceful hunger strike. He said that we were looking for a place where we could hold our peaceful hunger strike but the place was not given. In such a situation, we had no option but to start a hunger strike from Ladakh Bhawan, where we have been kept under house arrest. We were assured of meeting the top leadership of the country, but no date has been given for that. We were forced to start the hunger strike again.
