Sooraj Barjatya On Amitabh Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in the film ‘Height’. Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa were seen with Amitabh in this film. The promotion of the film was also done vigorously in different cities. At the trailer launch of the film, director Sooraj Barjatya shared many funny stories. He had also told a similar story about Big B. He said that when he took the story of the film to Amitabh Bachchan, his condition worsened.
Had to take anxiety medicine
During this trailer launch, Sooraj Barjatya told that he had offered the film ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ to Amitabh Bachchan. The director told that whenever the story of a film is narrated to Amit ji, he listens to it without any expression, which makes it difficult to ascertain whether he is liking the story or not. In such a situation, when he went to tell him the story of the film ‘Unchai’, before that he had taken anxiety medicine. Because he cannot face Amitabh Bachchan.
Sooraj Barjatya had said, “I was sitting in front of Amitabh Bachchan after taking two pills of tension because it is not easy to face Sir, he listens to the story of the film with his gaze”. However, during the shooting, he realized that Amitabh Bachchan is not one to intimidate but one to learn. He said, “I felt Sir is the easiest to work with. I enjoyed working with him on the sets but I enjoyed (his company) more in his vanity van”.
