Jiah Khan Case: Actor Sooraj Pancholi was acquitted in the Jiah Khan suicide case on 28 April. Since 2013, a case was going on against Sooraj Pancholi for abetting Jia Khan for suicide. After 10 years, Sooraj Pancholi got relief from this case. After being acquitted in this case, there is a lot of happiness among the fans of Sooraj. Many people are congratulating him. While talking about Sooraj Pancholi as soon as he was released from the case, he first messaged Salman Khan.
Salman Khan did the most for me – Sooraj Pancholi
Talking to Bombay Times, Sooraj Pancholi told about Dabangg Khan of Bollywood and how Salman has helped him in his bad times. Suraj said, ‘Salman Khan is not a friend of my father or mother. Of course, they know each other as they all work in the same industry. I was the AD of Ek Tha Tiger and he told me that he would produce my first film. I was accused in 2013, two years before that film (Hero) came out and he still produced that film and stood by me. He has done more for me than anyone else, but I know my limits and I will not take advantage of that relationship. I have met him a hundred times, but never in connection with work. I texted him first as soon as I left the court. He told me, ‘Sooraj, if you know in your heart that you have done nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.’
‘No one wanted to give work’ – Sooraj Pancholi
Suraj Pancholi also told during this time that he sought work from many people, but due to this ongoing case, no one gave him work. He said, ‘In these last 10 years, I knocked on everyone’s doors for work. Corporates and studios did not want to work with someone who did not have permission to go out and had a sword hanging over his head. They wanted me to get a clean chit first. I feel reborn now and I am ready to work.
Suraj also told in this interview that he has been in a relationship with Jia Khan for only 5 months.
