There is anger among SP workers in Safdarganj market of Karanjakala block over Samajwadi Party making Babu Singh Kushwaha the candidate from Jaunpur. Regarding this, on Monday the workers burnt the effigy and demonstrated with posters raising anti-slogans. The workers have demanded change of candidate. Also warned that such demonstrations will continue until the candidate is changed.
Samajwadi Party has nominated Babu Singh Kushwaha from Jaunpur Lok Sabha. There is internal opposition among SP workers regarding this. Regional leaders expressed their anger along with the workers and protested. Everyone reached Safdarganj market with placards, banners and posters.
Demanding removal of external candidates, demanded district leaders to be made candidates. During this, slogans were raised against Babu Singh Kushwaha and said that he is also implicated in the NHRM scam. In such a situation, the image of the party will be tarnished.
There are many leaders and workers in the district, one of them should be made the candidate. During this, SP workers burnt the symbolic effigy of Babu Singh Kushwaha and raised slogans against him. During this, SP leader Agrasen Yadav said that this protest will continue until the candidate is changed. Jitendra Kumar, Amresh Yadav, Polu Yadav, Brijesh Yadav etc. were present on this occasion.
