Demands for opening of hostels, evening prayers, PT (exercise), cultural programmes, annual sports and cleanliness competition were raised. The students warned that if their demands were not met, they would be forced to agitate.

The Principal said that the hostel in UP College will be started in the next session. No action will be taken against any student. There would have been talks with the administration to end the case. Students said that the hostel is old. It is in a dilapidated condition. There is currently no hostel arrangement for first year students. Hostels for second year, third year and other classes are available.

Principal Prof. DK Singh said that the hostel is old. After talks, a letter will be written to the Proctorial Board. Alumni will also be included in the committee. Arrangements for guards, CCTV, wardens and class IV employees will be made to run the hostel. Shivam Singh, Krishnamurthy Singh, Rajiv Singh, Satyam Choubey, Raunak Rai etc. raised the demand.
