From December 29 to December 31, Dalai Lama gave teachings on world peace at Kalachakra Maidan in Bodh Gaya. In which more than 60 thousand devotees from India and abroad participated. Buddhist devotees participating in the teaching are served special Tibetan tea twice. Which is prepared from milk, salt, butter and tea leaves. Making tea for 60 thousand people is not an easy task. Therefore, three big copper pans are brought from Banaras. Tea is prepared for 10 thousand people at a time in one pan.

A kitchen has been built near the Kalachakra ground for making tea. This great kitchen has a great pan, in which tea is made for 10 thousand people at a time. Hundreds of monks are seen running after pouring tea in kettles to deliver tea to more than 60 thousand Buddhist devotees involved in the teaching and tea and fruits are given to the devotees with great reverence. A big stove is made for making tea in a big pan. A dozen Buddhist devotees are busy making tea. 400 kettles are also ordered to serve tea to more than 60 thousand devotees.

Consumption of more than 10 thousand liters of milk

Two types of tea are prepared in the pandal. One tea is prepared with Tibetan butter, salt and Amul milk and the other is normal tea. More than 10 thousand liters of milk is consumed daily in making tea. Giving information in this regard, Buddhist monk Ishi Dorje says that tea is prepared for 10 thousand people at one time in one pan and three pans are brought from Banaras during the puja. Tea is prepared for 30 thousand people at a time in all three kadais.
