All regular trains going to Purvanchal are jam-packed for the festivals. In such a situation, to ease the journey of passengers, Railways is running special trains. These trains are being provided stoppages at those places from where the number of passengers is the highest. Puja special trains running from Delhi to Azamgarh, Muzaffarpur, Jaynagar, Jogbani and other places have been given stoppages especially at Lucknow, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur and other stations. This campaign of Railways will provide convenience to the passengers.
For the convenience of railway passengers during the festive season, Northern Railway will provide stoppages to Puja special trains at many essential stations. Train number 04038/04037 Delhi Junction-Azamgarh-Delhi Junction special will run on 27th October. The stoppage of this train is given at Bareilly, Hardoi and Lucknow stations. Similarly, train number 04058/04057 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar special will run on October 24. This train will stop at Chandausi, Hardoi and Lucknow stations on the way. Train number 05284/05283 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar special will run on 6th October. This train will stop at Moradabad, Shahjahanapur, Hardoi and Lucknow stations.
At the same time, train number 04060/04059 Anand Vihar-Jayanagar-Anand Vihar special will run on October 25. Will run in the return direction on 26th October. On the way, this train will stop at Bareilly, Shahjahanpur and Lucknow stations. Apart from this, train number 04010/04009 Anand Vihar-Jogbani-Anand Vihar special will run on 29th October. In the return direction this train will run on 31st October. This train will run via Bareilly Cantt, Shahjahanpur and Sitapur. Northern Railway has taken this initiative for the convenience of railway passengers.
Railways has decided to run another Puja special train (09067) between Udhna Junction-Barauni Junction. This train will run every Thursday from October 10 to November 28. In the return direction, train number 09068 will run between Barauni Junction-Udhna Junction on every Friday from 11 October to 29 November.
