The police administration has made elaborate arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally to be held on April 25 at the grounds of Kothi Meena market in Agra. On Tuesday, the SPG team along with police officers took over the security arrangements of Kothi Meena market. During the meeting, soldiers will be deployed on the rooftops. Surveillance will also be maintained through drones. Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed from Agra division and surrounding areas. About four thousand policemen will be deployed for security.

Preparations are being made on a war footing for the Prime Minister’s public meeting on the grounds of Kothi Meena market. On Tuesday, SPG officials along with DCP City Suraj Kumar Rai, ACP Lohamandi, ACP Taj Security and other officials also arrived. There will be deployment on the rooftops of tall buildings around the public meeting venue. Apart from this, police, PAC and paramilitary force personnel will be deployed in security arrangements. Traffic towards Kothi Meena market will be closed during the rally.

DCP City said that forces from nearby districts have arrived. The command of security will be in the hands of about four thousand soldiers. The route from Kheria airport to the public meeting venue has also been cleared. In coordination with ADA, Municipal Corporation and other departments, the police got the encroachments removed. During this time, security rehearsal and meeting will also be held during the departure of the fleet. Along with Kothi Meena market, the nomads in the surrounding areas have also been evicted.
