Sridevi Birth Anniversary: Bollywood’s first female superstar Sridevi’s birth anniversary is on 13th August. The actress made her mark with her iconic performances. Fans miss Sridevi a lot. Sridevi was in the news for her professional life as well as her personal life.
She married filmmaker Boney Kapoor. They got married in Shirdi in 1996. When Boney met Sridevi, he was married to Mona. They have two children from this marriage, Anshula and Arjun Kapoor. Sridevi never differentiated between her children and step children.
Sridevi used to keep checking Arjun and Anshula
In an interview given to Filmfare, Boney Kapoor had said that Sridevi used to stay in touch with all the four children. Boney Kapoor had said, ‘Our priority is our children. She used to keep checking Anshula and Arjun with me.’ Along with this, he told that even if it was late at night or he would stay awake till 3 in the morning, Sridevi would still get up at 6.30 in the morning. She would check whether the daughters had breakfast or not. She used to drop the children till the gate even while going to school.
He described Sridevi as devoted to the family. Talking about his 50th birthday celebration, Boney Kapoor said that all his children were present at the celebration and it was entirely because of them. Boney said, ‘Sridevi always wanted the family to stay together. She used to put in extra effort.’
Let us tell you that Sridevi started working in films at the age of 4. She appeared in the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai. She made her debut in 1979 with the film Solva Sawan.
