Recently, in an interview, Janhvi talked about her mother Sridevi. She also told that Sridevi was not ready to accept that her daughter has grown up and needs undergarments.
In an interview with Hauterfly, when Janhvi was asked who introduced her to innerwear for the first time, Janhvi said, ‘Mamma did it. But she was initially not ready to accept that her daughter has grown up. She thought that she is a child and does not need these things yet. I used to tell her that I feel that mummy, I need it. I really feel that I need it.’
Let us tell you that Sridevi is India’s first female superstar. She made a distinct identity in the industry on the basis of her talent. Sridevi passed away in 2018. Sridevi’s sudden demise shocked everyone. Sridevi is married to filmmaker Boney Kapoor. They have two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
When Sridevi returned to work again
Janhvi Kapoor also told that father Boney Kapoor had encouraged Sridevi to work again. Janhvi said, ‘When I was born, mother had given up her career. She herself did not want to work. She felt that she had worked for a long time. It was father who would tell her that now the children have grown up, now you should find happiness in work. I will take care of them. I will stay with them during school hours. I will plan summer vacation. If you want to do films then please do it.’
