‘Srikanth’ directed by Tushar Hiranandani is a biopic. This film is based on the life, struggle and victory of visually impaired businessman Srikanth Bolla. Srikanth Bolla broke stereotypes and was the first blind student of Management Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His life has been portrayed on screen by Rajkumar Rao. The inspiring story of the film won the hearts of the audience. Although this film did not perform very well at the box office, it did a business of more than one crore every day for two weeks. However, after reaching the third week of release, the business of ‘Srikanth’ has shrunk to millions.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Srikant’ earned 17.85 crores in the first week, while in the second week, the film collected 13.65 crores. On the third Monday of the third week, ‘Srikant’ earned 85 lakhs. On the third Tuesday, ‘Srikant’ did a business of only 85 lakhs. Meanwhile, the initial figures of ‘Srikant’s’ earnings on the 20th day of its release, i.e. the third Wednesday, have arrived.
