Boxing competition will be held from 14th to 16th October at the amphitheater ground of BHU in Varanasi. The first ranked boxer will get a chance to play in the national level competition.

There will be a state level boxing championship in BHU after two days. 400 boxers from across the state will come to Kashi, of which 120 will be girl students. Two rings have been built on the amphitheater ground of BHU. The first ranked boxer will get a chance to play in the national level competition.

The Secondary Education Department has got the responsibility of the 68th State Level Boxing Championship after 20 years. Before this, a competition was organized by the Secondary Education Department in 2004 in Kashi. Joint Education Director Ramsharan Singh has been made the coordinator.
