Strange but true: There is scarcity of water around, continuous flow of water on Rudralingas, this is the Tapasthali of Pandavas

Dausa. The land of Dausa in Rajasthan is the land of saints and sages. Many temples and religious places here are famous. There are many stories and legends associated with them. One such place is Jhanjhirampura. It is said that a continuous stream of water flows here. But no one knows where it is coming from.

Many saints and sages were born in Dausa district. There are many mysteries associated with many temples here, which very few people know about. One such place is Jhaanjhirampura, surrounded by hills in Bandikui subdivision area. As its popularity is spreading, this place is also becoming a center of faith for people. It is said that here a continuous stream of water flows from Gomukh in the form of a waterfall from the mountains. This water passes through the big pond located ahead of Gaumukh Kund, through the outer pond and goes to Kamal Kund. The water coming from the hill to Gaumukh is called a lotus pond. No one can see the water from above. Water comes in this cow-mouth throughout the year and people take bath in the pond.

Religious importance of Jhajhirampura
Mahant Manoj Awasthi said that Jhajhirampura pilgrimage is a place of penance from the Mahabharata era. Saints used to do penance in the Aravali mountains. Pandavas started worshipping Rudradev in the presence of Baba Bhurasiddh Maharaj to obtain weapons during their exile. Ekadasha Rudras appeared due to the rigorous penance of Pandavas and Bhurasiddh Maharaj. Since that day, Rudras are being continuously anointed with water from Ganga water. Lord Shiva is in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and Maa Parvati is on Nandi on his left side. There are five Rudralingas on the left and right side of Lord Shiva. Nature itself is doing Jalabhishek on all these Ekadasha Rudras.

Local woman Kamala Byadwal says that there is a severe problem of water around the Jhajhirampura religious place. But water is continuously coming from Gomukh to the Jhajhirampura religious place. No one knows where this water comes from. Thousands of devotees come here every year, especially in the month of Shravan.

Program on Sawan and Janmashtami
Local people said that on the first Monday of Shravan month, there is a greater number of men and women. A fair is also held here. However, on all Mondays of Shravan month, more women come here. Especially on Janmashtami, thousands of devotees are present here.

How to reach Jhanjirampur
This religious place is about 50 kilometers away from Dausa district headquarters. It is the last village of Bandikui subdivision area. It is about 5 kilometers away from Alwar Gangapur Mega Highway. Vehicles are available on rent for this in the month of Shravan but there is no arrangement to come here in other months. Most of the devotees come here in their personal vehicles.
