Noida: A strange case of blackmailing and attack while eating chow mein has come to light in Sector-45 of Noida in Uttar Pradesh. Here a young man found it costly to eat chow mein with his girlfriend. The incident took place late in the evening of 6th November. When a young man named Ankit had gone to Som Bazaar with his girlfriend to eat chow mein. At the same time, three of his friends who were already there tried to blackmail him and when he refused, they even beat him up.
Party was sought with blackmailing
According to the FIR lodged at the police station, Ankit’s brother Brijmohan has lodged a complaint regarding this matter in the police station Sector-39. It is stated in the complaint that three youths named Karan, Kallu alias Amit and Pradeep surrounded Ankit. They first abused him and threatened him that either he would throw them a party of chow mein or anything else or they would tell his girlfriend’s whereabouts to his family. When Ankit protested against this threat, the accused started beating him. Ankit suffered serious injuries in this attack.
All three accused are absconding from police custody
According to Brijmohan, after the attack on Ankit, the victim’s family and local people are also demanding strict action from the police administration against the accused. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police came into action and registered a case against the three accused. However, till now these three accused are out of the custody of the police and they are searching for them.
