Noida: A unique case has come to light from Sector-20 of Noida, where the dispute regarding laddus distributed on the occasion of Independence Day increased so much that the matter reached the court. Sector-20 RWA (Block V) President Vidya Sagar Virmani has filed a defamation case of Rs 1 crore against 16 people. The hearing of this dispute will be held in Surajpur court on January 27. It is alleged that derogatory comments were made against him regarding the laddus being distributed under his supervision on the day of Independence Day.
What is the matter?
Regarding distribution of laddus on the occasion of Independence Day, some residents alleged that on Independence Day last August 15, they were shown a fake bill for distribution of laddus worth several thousand rupees, but no one could see where and to whom the laddus were distributed. . People also said about President Vidya Sagar that maybe he himself would have eaten the laddus alone.
It was alleged that laddus were distributed to class IV employees. Consent was also taken from all the officials of the association in distributing laddus. For this, 12 kg laddus were purchased for about seven thousand rupees. Its bill was prepared by the association. The accusers say that a fake bill was prepared in the name of distributing laddus. Some people even claimed that the president himself might have eaten the laddus. Hurt by these allegations, Vidya Sagar Virmani, with the help of a lawyer, filed a defamation case against 16 people and sent a notice of Rs 1 crore.

In this case Mohammad Akhtar, Saheb Singh, SP Singh, Prem Sharma, RC Mahur, Manju Sharma, Geeta Aggarwal, Kanta Kila, Kavita Rohatgi, Ganesh Shalihotra, Alok Jain, RC Malik, KL Goyal, VK Mehra, MK Arora and Arun Kumar. A case has been registered against Joshi. Along with this, Vidya Sagar Virmani says that as RWA President, he has been distributing sweets and laddus to the employees and residents on various festivals for the last two and a half years. This process happens with the consent of all the officials. He said that this time also laddus were distributed on Independence Day, but some people tried to tarnish his image by making false allegations against him.

A complaint has also been made to the Deputy Registrar in this matter. At the same time, the first hearing will be held on January 27 under the suit filed in the court.
