Gajaraj reached to meet his beloved elephants
In such a situation, the madness of a 6-year-old male elephant named Gajraj in Dudhwa National Park is in the news these days. His desire to meet his female elephants became so intense that he broke the shackles tied to his feet and ran towards the forest.
Know why Gajraj fled
Dudhwa National Park Deputy Director Dr. Rangaranju T said that this is the breeding season for elephants and during this time extreme excitement is seen in male elephants. Gajraj also became a victim of this excitement and the memories of his girlfriends made him so restless that he broke the chains and headed towards the forest.
However, the Dudhwa administration has become completely alert after Gajraj ran away. The park staff is constantly monitoring so that Gajraj and other female elephants can be brought back to the camp safely. The Dudhwa park administration is now offering many temptations to Gajraj to bring him back to the camp, but all efforts are proving futile. Efforts are being made to bring Gajraj back to the camp by luring him with bananas and other tasty fruits, but these temptations seem to be fading in front of Gajraj’s love.
