After this, these seven together started selling ‘Student Lassi’ which has now spread all over the city. Every student of Gorakhpur University is crazy about this special lassi available in thirteen flavours. While starting this, seven friends borrowed money from the market, but after being successful, today they are giving employment to about 22 people.
Deepak Yadav, who runs ‘Student Lassi’ told that we started it in the year 2019 in BA first year. At that time, seven of us friends started it together. In the initial days, we started selling lassi from an ice cream stand. In just a few days, the people of Gorakhpur liked our lassi. But only then Corona came in the country and all over the world. We too came under its grip, but still we persevered, persevered. At the end of the year 2020, we started it and gradually increased the variety of Lassi. Today about three quintals of curd is used every day. We make this special lassi in 13 flavours. We provide pure and tasty lassi to people for just Rs.30.
