jamshedpur, Jamshedpur, the iron city of Jharkhand, is also called ‘Mini Mumbai’, because here you can find more than one street food in every street and every intersection. Be it Chole-Bhatura with amazing taste or traditional dishes of Jharkhand, you will get to eat all these things in Jamshedpur. There is one such shop of Roshan Chole Bhature near Barmines police station of Jamshedpur. This shop remains open from 8 am to 8 pm. Here the Bhature swells as if a balloon has been inflated and placed on the plate.
While talking to Local 18, shop operator Roshan told that he has been selling Chhola Bhatura here for the last 10 years. He told that the main reason for Bhatura to swell like a balloon is that the flour is mixed well with the curd in hot water. Then they leave it for at least 6 hours, due to which when they make round balls of it and filter it in oil, it comes out as a round Bhatura just like a balloon.
He told that it is served in a plate with two pieces of Bhatura, hot chickpeas, onion and pickle. Its price is only Rs 30. According to Roshan, at least 500 plates of Chole-Bhatura are sold in his shop every day. Javed Ansari, who came to have breakfast at this shop, told that he has been coming here to eat Chole-Bhatura for the last 3 years. Whenever they have breakfast here, they do not need to eat anything else till noon. Not only does it taste amazing, it also fills the stomach.
