He sets up his fast food Mithila Idli stall near Aastha Mandir in front of Rajendra Bal Udyan in Purnia. The idli and sambar made at his stall are liked by the customers a lot. He serves it to the customers at the rate of ₹20 per plate.

While talking to News18 Local, Mithila Idli operator Suraj Kumar said that for the last several years he wanted to feed the delicious taste of Idli and Sambar to the people of Purnia. After which he learned all the methods of starting a startup by watching YouTube. And with the capital he had saved and the financial support of his family, he started Mithila Idli in Purnia.
He said that people started liking the idli sambhar made by him and as a result, today he has set up a stall of Mithila Idli at three different places in Purnia. He said that this is just the beginning and in the coming days, due to the love of the customers and the quality of his products, he is trying to open about 10 stalls and will also be able to give employment to about 50 people. His Mithila Idli sells more than 500 plates daily.
