Artisan Prem Shankar Sah and Shambhu Yadav, who made this delicious khova lai, told about the method of making it. He said that khova lye is made here in three categories, whose rate (price) is Rs 220, 230 and 250 per kg respectively. The quality of all is mixed with different types of ingredients for different tastes. On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Khoya Lai is sold more in the shops. People come from far and wide to buy it and take it away.
On the other hand, there is a crowd of people buying this sweet in the month of December and January in Muzaffarganj market. Khowa’s Lai has made its own special identity in the market. A large population of this village is engaged in making khova’s lye.
