This matter is of VT Choksi College, Surat. This incident has raised serious questions on the examination system of VNSG University. If reports are to be believed, the sixth semester examination of the Bachelor of Law (LLB) program at VT Choksi College was conducted in April 2024 and the results were declared in May. At that time a student was declared failed. But he applied for revaluation. When his copy was re-evaluated, it was revealed that the student had passed the examination and was passed with first class marks.

College Chancellor Kishore Singh Chavda has said on this matter that the student got low marks due to an evaluation error. The student submitted a written application to the university, after which the process of re-evaluation was started. During investigation it was revealed that the student had failed because the examiner had mistakenly reduced his marks. After rectifying the mistake, the student was passed in first class.
