Students have come out in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to protest against the Sambhal incident. They took out a foot march and demanded to send the officers responsible for the incident to jail.

Duck Pond students gathered on December 2. The students turned towards Baba Syed as they marched. They had posters with slogans regarding the Sambhal incident in their hands. Student leader Naved Chaudhary said that once the survey was done, there was no need for a second survey. The result of the survey mistake was that the administration had to resort to lathi charge and bullets. The officers are responsible for this incident. Youth have died due to their bullets. Students said that the university has always raised its voice against inhuman acts in the country and the world. Compensation should be given to the families of the deceased youth. Students also raised slogans.

The students handed over a memorandum addressed to the President to the proctor. Student leader Naved Chaudhary said that people should take a lesson from what RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat has said. Dr. Mohan Bhagwat had said- It is not a good thing to find Shivling in every mosque. In this regard, Proctor Prof. Mohammad Wasim Ali said that the students have taken out a foot march after the Sambhal incident. Memorandum has also been submitted. Students reached Baba Syed from Duck Pond. Where prayers were read for the dead people in Sambhal and then a memorandum was given.
