It is said that the fruits of hard work may be delayed but they are definitely reaped. Today we are going to tell you the story of one such person, on whom this line fits perfectly. This is the inspiring story of Yasin Shan Muhammad.
Yasin Shan Muhammad stood second in the Kerala Judicial Services Examination 2024. He was born in Palakkad district of Kerala. His mother left school in the 6th grade and got married when he was 14, but divorced him when he was 19. Yasin was born when his mother was only 15 years old.
Yasin never got in touch with his father. His mother took care of both the children and her grandmother. She worked as a daily wage laborer and still worked as an ASHA worker. His family got a roof under a housing scheme of the state government, but due to financial constraints, Yasin had to wear old clothes and could not afford to buy books.
But he had a desire to study. For which Yasin started working as a newspaper and milk distributor since childhood and along with his school studies, he became the support of the family. He also worked as a laborer at construction sites. Yasin tells that he was an average student. After passing 12th, he did Diploma in Electronics and then worked for a year.
Worked as a delivery boy
Then he returned to Kerala and did graduation in Public Administration. After this he decided to do law. Yasin secured 46th rank in the state law entrance examination and took admission in the Law College, Ernakulam. From here he did LLB and during this period he also taught children. At that time he also worked as a delivery boy. However, this work stopped during Covid.
colleagues inspired
Yasin registered as a lawyer in the year 2023. While working under a senior lawyer in the court, two of his colleagues passed the Judicial Services Examination. His seniors and colleagues also motivated Yasin to take the exam. After this he started preparing for the exam.
Success in second attempt
Yasin gave tuition to law students. This not only brought him income but also helped him practice. Which helped him a lot in his preparation. Yasin stood second in the Kerala Judicial Services Examination. He could not clear the main examination in the first attempt. But he fulfilled his dream by securing second rank in the second attempt.
