Ajmer. Keeping in mind the increasing number of diabetic patients, Ajmer Saras Dairy has launched sugar free barfi. Now diabetic patients will also be able to enjoy sweets through this sweet.
With its arrival in the market, diabetic patients can use this sweet every day during the festival of Diwali as well. Sugar has not been used in it for sweetness. For this reason, it can be used by diabetic patients as well as normal people. This sugar free sweet made from dairy is being supplied to Ajmer and other districts including Jaipur, Nagaur.
First cooperative dairy formed
Ajmer Dairy Chairman Ramchandra Chaudhary said that the target of providing sugar free sweets to diabetic patients was given to the cooperative sector by Samit Sharma, Government Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cow Husbandry Department. This was accepted by Ajmer Dairy. With the launch of sugar free sweets, Ajmer Dairy has become the first cooperative in the cooperative sector to do so. On the occasion of Diwali, Chaudhary called upon people to perform puja with pure desi ghee of Saras.
This will be the price of sweets
Managing Director of Ajmer Dairy, K.C. Meena told that in the sugar free sweets produced by Ajmer Dairy, a sugar replacement called Maltitol has been used instead of sugar. Apart from being sweet in taste, it is not harmful for diabetic patients. This sugar free barfi is currently available in packing of 250 and 500 grams. The price of one kg has been kept at Rs 500. Sugar free sweets are available at all Saras Dudh stores.
