Online Fraud: Nowadays you must have read in many news that someone had ordered a phone from an online shopping website, but at the time of delivery, instead of the phone, it turned out to be a stone or something else. Many cases of people being cheated in online shopping have come to light.

Now something similar has happened with Mukul P Unni, who is a Supreme Court lawyer. Mukul had ordered iPhone 15 from e-commerce platform Amazon, but little did he know that he would become a victim of fraud. Mukul has posted on X about the fraud that happened with him.

what is the whole matter

Mukul had ordered on July 21 to exchange his iPhone 13 with iPhone 15 through an exchange offer on Amazon. After this, the next day i.e. on July 22, at around 9.30 pm, the delivery person reached his house and gave the iPhone 15 to the customer. After that, Mukul told the OTP to the delivery executive and gave his old iPhone 13 to him.

After that the delivery person asked Mukul for another OTP. On asking for OTP for the second time, the delivery person told that it is necessary for the exchange process. Mukul told that he has not received any OTP for the second time, after which the executive calls his supervisor. The supervisor tells Mukul that there is a separate team for exchange, if you have not received OTP for the second time then return the phone.

No phone call or refund

Mukul was shocked by this statement of the supervisor. Mukul also expressed his objection to the supervisor’s statement, but when the supervisor said that the new iPhone would arrive the next day, he gave the phone to the executive. The next day Mukul called Amazon’s customer care and gave them all the information.

After listening to everything, he was assured that if he did not receive the product, the money would be refunded. After this, Mukul was asked to wait till 31st July. On 31st July, Mukul was called and told that the investigation has been completed and the money will not be refunded. According to Mukul, he has been defrauded of Rs 38,000.
