UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya cleaned and launched a cleanliness drive at Balkeshwar Hanuman Temple in Lucknow on Sunday. He said that on December 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given the slogan of ‘Clean Mohalla, Clean Village, Ayodhya Dham, Jai Shri Ram’ and appealed to the people of the country to participate in the cleanliness campaign. PM Modi is performing the rituals of the first 11 days of the Pran Pratishtha program to be held in Ayodhya and has appealed to run a cleanliness campaign in the temples of the country. All BJP workers are contributing in this.
He said that PM Modi had washed the feet of the sanitation workers while explaining the importance of cleanliness and had appealed to run cleanliness campaigns in temples. To move this campaign forward, a cleanliness campaign has been launched in Balkeshwar Temple.
