He requested Shankaracharya that he should present evidence. Ajendra Ajay said, “I respect Swami Avimukteshwarananda, but he keeps holding press conferences all day long. It is Swami Avimukteshwarananda’s habit to create controversy, spread sensation and remain in discussions.”
‘No right to hurt the dignity of Kedarnath’
According to news agency ANI, the temple committee chairman said, “His statement on the disappearance of gold in Kedarnath Dham is very unfortunate. I request and challenge him to bring out the facts and evidence. He should go to the authorities, present the evidence and demand an investigation. Otherwise, he has no right to create unnecessary controversy and tarnish the dignity of Kedarnath.”

In fact, there is a plan to build Kedarnath Dham in the capital through the Delhi Trust of Kedarnath Dham. Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda condemned this and then claimed that gold has disappeared from Kedarnath Dham. He said, “There cannot be a symbolic Kedarnath. In Shiv Puran, 12 Jyotirlingas have been mentioned with their names and places. When the address of Kedarnath is in the Himalayas, how can it be in Delhi? There are political reasons behind this. Political people are entering our religious places.”
