Swara-Fahad Wedding Anniversary: It has been one year since the marriage of Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar and Fahadh Ahmed. Today this couple is celebrating their first wedding anniversary. 32 year old Swara had a court marriage with Fahadh on 16 February 2023. After this the couple had a traditional wedding with musical instruments. On the occasion of her first wedding anniversary, Swara Bhaskar has written a long post on her Instagram. In this post, the actress also expressed the fear that she felt after holding Fahad’s hand.
Swara shares her love story on her first wedding anniversary
On her first wedding anniversary, Swara Bhaskar, while sharing pictures of her court marriage, has also narrated her love story in a long note on her Instagram account. The actress wrote, “’Wise people say, only fools hurry…’ Fahad and I hurried to get married, but we were friends since 3 years. It was a love that neither of us saw blossom, perhaps because of the many differences between us.
Swara-Fahadh had similar views despite different backgrounds
Swara further wrote, “We were from two different religions, Hindu and Muslim. I am older than Fahadh and we come from different worlds. A big city girl, from an ethnically mixed English speaking family and a small town boy, from a traditional western UP family that speaks Urdu and Hindustani. I am a Hindi film actress, he is a research scholar, activist and politician. But there was one thing common between both of us and that was education which gave us a common point of view in every field, be it language, society or country. We met at the CAA-NRC protest in December 2019 and protested together. Gradually we became close confidants.
Swara felt safe with Fahadh
Swara further wrote, “I felt safe with Fahadh and always met him. He said he could talk to me about anything without fear of judgment. After months of talking and night talks, I asked Fahadh what was next. He said that even though we were far away from each other, we were still compatible with each other, he loved me very much And if I waited for 2-3 years for him to ‘settle’ then we could get married. I was surprised but also had faith in his confidence and clarity.”
Swara was afraid of holding Fahad’s hand
Swara further explains, “I always thought that I had moved beyond the mentality of what will people say, but suddenly, I was worried about how family, friends, film acquaintances and even my loyal trolls would react. Will give. But, Fahadh read my unspoken fears and then we worked on them. Our families were worried, but we stuck to our love. Our surprised parents accepted our decision with some hesitation. When they met us together, I think all their fears went away.
Swara’s wedding functions lasted for 10 days
Finally Swara wrote, “A year ago today we got married under SMA. Appropriately, the relationship that started in protest to preserve the Constitution was consummated under constitutional provisions. A month later (I was pregnant by then), we celebrated with all the rituals at my maternal grandparents’ house. There was a lot of music, feast and Dawaat-e-Walima.
