In Begusarai Sadar Hospital, the insensitivity of the health department and the district administration has been seen once again. The insensitivity of the district administration because it took the local administration more than 20 hours to find the body of a youth drowned in a small puddle. Meanwhile, the relatives have also accused the city police station chief of demanding Rs 20,000 to get the body removed. On the other hand, no arrangement was made by the district administration to take the dead body from Pokhri by SDRF to Sadar Hospital. On the other hand, after the post-mortem of the dead body in Sadar Hospital, the dead body was not even provided by the hospital management to take the dead body to the family’s house. Because of which the family members were forced to take the dead body on a wheelbarrow.

what is the matter

Golu Kumar, a resident of Gachi Tola of Nagar police station area, had reached Badi Pokhar located in Pokharia of Nagar police station area on Sunday along with his colleagues for idol immersion, where he died due to drowning due to immersion in deep water during idol immersion. After the drowning, the relatives of the Nagar police station kept pleading for the recovery of the dead body, demanding the SDRF team to be called, but the lice would not crawl on the ears of the police administration. SDRF team reached the spot after about 15 hours. Then after a lot of effort, the dead body could be recovered by the SDRF team. But see the insensitivity of the administration that even after the recovery of the dead body, arrangements were not made by the district administration and health department to take the dead body. Exhausted, the family members went to Sadar for post-mortem by loading the dead body on a wheelbarrow and then after the post-mortem, they had to bring the dead body to their home from the wheelbarrow itself.

Had to travel only 2 kilometers

The distance from the puddle from where the dead body was recovered to Sadar Hospital was just 500 meters while the distance from Sadar Hospital to the house of the deceased was only one and a half kilometer. That is, the ambulance had to cover a distance of only 2 kilometers inside the city. Despite this, not arranging an ambulance by its administration and hospital management raises a question on the system.

Demonstration done near SP office

Dissatisfied with the poor system of the administrative and health department, the angry family members and villagers demonstrated fiercely against the chaos by keeping the dead body in front of the SP office. During this, people also blocked the road in front of the SP office.

City police station accused of demanding money

The relatives have also accused the police of the city police station of demanding money. In this regard, the family members alleged that the city police station president Ram Niwas had demanded Rs 20,000 for exhuming the dead body.

After this attitude of the health department and the district administration, people have now started questioning the sensitivity of the police and the health system.
