Taliban Reject PoK: The Taliban government has now given a big blow to Pakistan. The Taliban government of Afghanistan has completely rejected the claim of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Since, the Taliban government has evaluated the boundaries of Afghanistan for the first time in the last 3 decades. In such a situation, it is clear that the Taliban does not consider POK as a part of Pakistan, but officially a part of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Tolo News, the Ministry of Border and Tribal Affairs of the Taliban government said that it has evaluated the imaginary line with Pakistan and the official borders with Tajikistan and Jammu and Kashmir. According to the ministry statement, a delegation of the ministry has evaluated the imaginary line with Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir and the official border with Tajikistan in Wakhan, Zebak and Kuran and Munjan districts of Badakhshan.
Taliban has not evaluated the borders for the last 3 decades
The ministry says that these boundaries were not evaluated for three decades. In such a situation, it is worth noting that the Taliban ministry has not used the term ‘Pakistan occupied area’ for Jammu and Kashmir in this statement. Which means that the Taliban government is not accepting Pakistan’s claim on POK. Let us tell you that India has always considered POK as its own and called it an integral part of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Ministry of Borders and Tribal Affairs said that it has evaluated the hypothetical line with Pakistan and the official borders with Tajikistan and Jammu and Kashmir.

What is the Indian government’s stand on POK?
In such a situation, it is clear from this statement of the Taliban government that the Taliban has completely rejected the claim of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. With this move of the Taliban, the border of Afghanistan will directly meet the Jammu and Kashmir region of India, which declares it a direct neighbor of both the countries.
However, the Indian government has also taken the same stand in this matter, last year Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had given a big statement about Pakistan occupied Kashmir. He said that Pakistan has illegally occupied Kashmir. It was and will remain a part of India. He said that the people there are seeing how peacefully people are living in Jammu and Kashmir on this side, in such a situation, seeing the troubles the people of PoK are going through, the people there will soon raise the demand to go with India.
