The gang involved in the robbery of 3.70 crores at Tanishq showroom in Purnia was planning to commit a big murder in the district two months ago from Beur jail. The gang members were planning to terrorize Purnia by killing a minister of Bihar government or a member of his family. But the police and STF foiled the plans of the criminals. Due to this, the criminal had to leave the field and run away. The police and STF were busy searching for the criminals involved in that conspiracy, when the member of that gang committed a big robbery of 3.70 crores at Tanishq showroom. This was revealed when the criminal involved in the robbery was arrested by the police.
Notorious criminal Bittu Singh and interstate gangster Subodh had hatched the conspiracy
In this regard, SP Upendra Nath Verma also admitted that after the Lok Sabha elections in April-May, this gang had made full preparations to carry out a major incident in the district. But the police and STF got a clue on the spot due to which the incident was averted. The story of the above incident was also created by notorious criminal Bittu Singh and interstate gangster Subodh from Beur Jail.
A minister of Bihar government or his relative was about to be murdered
It is being told that the team of criminals formed by both of them had also started recce of a minister of Bihar government and his family. But after the police and STF team got the information, senior officers of STF reached Purnia and camped there continuously for several days. Due to this, Purnia was saved from being shaken. According to the information, notorious criminals Bittu Singh and Subodh Singh were preparing to shake Purnia by killing a minister of Bihar government and a member of his family from Beur jail itself. As soon as this was known, there was a stir in Beur jail. Senior officers of police and STF reached the jail and started interrogating. Also, notorious criminal Bittu Singh was again sent to Bhagalpur Central Jail and Subodh Singh was shifted to Bengal jail.
