Tarak Mehta’s Owl Glasses: The makers of the popular TV show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ have recently approached the Delhi High Court over the misuse of the show’s content. Now the court has given its verdict on this. Yes, now no one will be able to misuse the content of Tarak Mehta. Now the show’s dialogues, characters, titles, everything is protected under the law. If anyone now even thinks of stealing the content of this show, then they can be punished.

People will no longer be able to use the content of ‘Tarak Mehta…’

‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has been ruling TV for 16 years. The serial is a popular comedy show on TV. Every character of this show has settled in the hearts of the audience today. The show has received a lot of love from the audience. However, people are also misusing the content of Tarak Mehta by uploading it on pornographic sites. Against which the makers of the show have now taken strict action. The makers alleged that some websites are using the image and story of the characters of Tarak Mehta for their own benefit.


The makers of the show also claimed that many people are earning money by making obscene videos on YouTube and getting lots of views. Not only this, some organizations were selling their goods using the dialogues, posters and stickers of the show through e-commerce platforms. Now the makers of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ approached the court and demanded a ban on the misuse of the name and characters of their show. Justice Mini Pushkarna gave her verdict on this issue, which came in favor of the makers.

The court said in its order that any obscene content related to the show being uploaded will now have to be removed. If this is not done within 48 hours, then all the videos will be banned by the IT Ministry. Along with this, now no website can use the content or trademark of ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ without permission. The makers have heaved a sigh of relief with this decision of the court.
