Stall operator Lalit said that he has been selling shawarma for the last one year. The idea of selling shawarma came to him after he tasted shawarma from a hotel in Kolkata. Then he decided to run his own business and started it.

Lalit told that many varieties of veg and non-veg shawarma are available at his place. Here customers can order as per their choice. The price of Paneer Shawarma sent to their place is Rs 80. Whereas the price of Cheese Paneer Shawarma is Rs 100. Whereas the price of non-veg chicken shawarma starts from Rs 100, where customers can enjoy butter chicken shawarma for Rs 120 and butter chicken cheese shawarma for Rs 140.

Regarding the recipe for making Shawarma, director Lalit said that first of all the chicken is marinated properly with various spices. Then, the chicken is finely chopped into small pieces by grilling it in a tandoor. Finally, after putting chicken on the roti, add finely chopped onion and cabbage leaves, add mayonnaise, sweet sauce and chutney on it, then wrap it and serve it to the customer. Chicken Shawarma is in highest demand at his shop. 150 shawarmas are consumed every day. His shop operates from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
