Stall operator Rohit told Local18 that his father Sunil Chaurasia had started the stall 10 years ago. Now he has been operating this stall for 6 months. Here customers can enjoy a delicious full plate of amazing Papdi Chaat for just Rs 30. Whereas the price of half plate papdi chaat is Rs 20.
This is how crispy chaat is made
Regarding the method of making Papdi Chaat, Rohit told that first of all crispy Papdi is made from flour. Then, chickpeas are prepared by boiling peas in hot water and adding turmeric and spices. After that, first of all the papdi is broken and kept in the plate. Hot chickpeas are served to the customer by adding curd, sweet chutney, green chutney, tamarind chutney, mango powder and other spices on top of it. 100 to 150 plates of papdi chaat are consumed daily at their place. He operates his stall from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Regarding his future plans, Rohit further said that at present he has given the 12th exam this year and his dream in the future is to have his own business. Want to start a restaurant.
