In Mathura, the Excise Department arrested a tea seller for smuggling liquor. There is anger among the villagers of Navipur village regarding this. On Thursday, under the leadership of two former Pradhans, the villagers came to complain to the SSP, but they raised their hands as the matter was of another department. Regarding this, the villagers expressed their anger outside the SSP office.

Omprakash, a resident of Navipur village, told that the Excise Department Inspector Kaushalendra Pratap Singh had come to his shop on May 23 along with the police force. He was accused of selling liquor illegally. Searched the tea kiosk located in his industrial area, but did not find anything. After conducting the search, all went back and later came again and took him with them to the police station. Here the inspector demanded 40 thousand rupees from him. On not giving, a false case of possessing liquor was registered and sent to jail.

The victim went to jail and has come out on bail. On Thursday, along with Chief Representative Kewal Singh, former Chief Gajendra Singh, former Chief Ramsharan, Gurudev Chowdhary, Vinod Chowdhary, Ajit, Govinda, Chandan, Laxman Pandit, Rajan, Karan Singh, former BDC Vijay Chowdhary, Amir and Karan from SSP found. On the other hand, Excise Inspector Kaushalendra Pratap Singh told that the accused was caught with liquor. All the allegations leveled against me are false.

District Excise Officer Kumar Prabhat Chand told that the villagers and the victims had met, they have given their complaint. The complaint will be investigated. Action will be taken as per rules after the inquiry report is received.
