Techno has brought new smartphones in the Pova series. Today the company has announced Pova 5 (Tecno Pova 5) in the global market with many great features. The device houses a notably large 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. It brings a stunning design with flat edges and display. According to the news of GizmoChina, the brand has also launched a special Garena Free Fire Edition of the smartphone with dedicated gaming features.

Tecno usually follows a different idea for design, which makes its smartphones better and different from the competition. It is supposed to look like a robot armor with all those lines on the back. The design is not much different for the special Free Fire edition. It just gets a different colour, some stickers and a custom packaging box. There are probably some customized wallpapers and icons inside the phone. Talking about the specifications, the Tecno Pova 5 flaunts a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with 1080x24460px resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, there is a mid-range Helio G99 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM.

The main highlight of the smartphone (Tecno Pova 5) is its massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W charging. The device comes with an in-box charger that can charge the battery up to 50% in 21 minutes and full in 60 minutes. The Pova 5 also supports 10W reverse charging. For photography, the Tecno Pova 5 gets a 50MP camera with a depth sensor at the back. There is an 8MP selfie shooter on the front.

Tecno is said to make the Pova 5 available in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America (via GSMArena). The device will be offered in Hurricane Blue, Amber Gold and Mecha Black. The company has not yet announced the price and sale date of the device.
