A teenage girl died after being hit by a cemented electric pole that broke after being hit by a loader vehicle at 2 pm on May 11 in village Kutaira Pora of Sikandrarau Kotwali. Five pillars broke and fell due to the collision of the loader, due to which the electricity department also suffered a loss of Rs 80 thousand. The junior engineer has filed a complaint in this regard at Kotwali Sikandrarau. The police sent the body for autopsy.
Junior Engineer Amit Kumar has filed a complaint in Kotwali Sikandrarau saying that Vijendra Singh, son of Rambhajan, resident of Kutera, was going somewhere with his loader vehicle. Then his vehicle collided with the pillars. Due to this, five pillars were also damaged. The electricity department has suffered a loss of about Rs 80 thousand due to this incident. He has said that while the pillar was breaking, Vimlesh (15) daughter of Dalveer Singh got hit by the broken pillar.
Father Dalveer Singh says that Vimlesh was coming home at 2 o’clock in the afternoon after working in the fields. As soon as she reached near Dal Singh’s house in the village. Then the cemented pillar broke and fell on him. He suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. A crowd gathered on the spot. There was a wave of mourning in the family due to the death of the girl. Outpost in-charge Brijesh Pandey reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The father has also filed a complaint in the police station regarding the incident.
