Bharatpur : There is a trend of having different sweets on every festival in the country, similarly Ghevar is a special sweet in the month of Sawan. It is also one of the famous sweets of Rajasthan. It is specially made on the festival of Rakshabandhan. It is specially seen that Ghevar sweet is available everywhere in plain and creamy flavor, but in Bharatpur, seven flavors of Ghevar sweet were prepared as per the demand of the people, in which people are liking chocolate, pineapple, mixed fruits flavor along with Tahalka and sugar free Ghevar a lot.
Vishnu Saini, owner of Saini Mishthan Bhandar, told Local 18 that this Ghevar is a famous sweet of Rajasthan. Also, due to Bharatpur being a Brij region, this sweet has special importance. At many places, Ghevar is available in two flavors, Malai and Plain. But here, keeping in mind the modern times, seven flavors of Ghevar sweet have been prepared. The main ones among them are Tehelka Ghevar along with Chocolate, Pineapple Mix Fruits, Sugar Free, Malai and Plain Ghevar, whose price in the market ranges from Rs 600 to Rs 1200 per kg.

Dry fruits have been used a lot in this Tehelka Ghevar. And its price is also very high. Vishnu Saini tells that a lot of sugar patients also come to us, keeping in mind whom sugar free Ghevar is also prepared.
Because now it is being seen that most of the people are suffering from diabetes and they are not able to eat much sweets, so keeping in mind the demand of these people, sugar free Ghevar is being made. Its price is around ₹ 1200 per kg. Saini tells that Ghevar sweet is being prepared with pure desi ghee at this shop since 1976. The third generation is handling the responsibility of Saini Mishthan Bhandar shop. Along with this, cleanliness is taken care of a lot here. The sweets of our shop are famous in Bharatpur as well as the surrounding districts and states. Big politicians and officers also like these sweets of ours very much.
