Ingredients to make Tehri
A cup,basmati rice
One teaspoon – capsicum powder
Two spoons – coriander powder
Half teaspoon cumin powder
2 to 3 tbsp – ghee or oil
salt to taste
chaat masala as per taste
standing spice
a pinch of asafoetida

in vegetables,
1,Onion
3 to 4-garlic
1-tomato
1,Green chilly
2,Potato
1 handful,green peas
Few pieces -carrot
3 to 4 – beans
some piece ,Cauliflower

How to make Tehri
First of all, wash a bowl of rice and filter it. Then cut all the vegetables in cube shape. Now wash them and keep them in a bowl. Now chop onion and garlic finely. Put the pressure cooker on the gas and put two spoons of ghee in it.

Now put a pinch of asafoetida, whole spices in it. Now add onion and fry it. Then add garlic and fry on medium heat. After roasting, add cumin powder, coriander powder, capsicum powder and add chopped tomatoes. Keep in mind that the spices do not burn. Add little water if needed and fry. Now add vegetables to it and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and add rice. Now pour 3 cups of water in it and close the lid of the pressure cooker. Turn off the gas when 2 whistles come. Serve with Raita as soon as the whistle blows.
