Shortly before the start of the new year, the details of the assets of Bihar’s Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and 29 ministers of the state were made public by the Bihar government. In this, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has been seen seven times richer than Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Nitish has shown a car in the property, while Tejashwi does not have it. The richest in the figures released is Revenue Minister Alok Kumar Mehta, who has assets of Rs 25.32 crore. Tejashwi Yadav’s assets are 5.27 crores, while his elder brother and Forest-Environment Minister Tej Pratap’s assets are 3.25 crores. Of Nitish’s total assets of 75.53 lakhs, 58.85 lakhs are immovable, while Tejashwi’s immovable assets are 3.93 crores and Tej Pratap’s 1.76 crores. Tej Pratap’s movable assets are only 1.49 crores.
